Building 210802 was completely renovated. The capacity of the mess deck was increased by 120 patrons, thanks to a food service study that allowed for an expanded, more efficient layout. The structure was upgraded to meet current seismic requirements and the roof replaced with a cold-applied roofing system.

New, efficient HVAC systems were provided. Piping was replaced throughout the building and the electrical system was upgraded, with new, energy-efficient fixtures. Existing restrooms were rehabilitated and new ADA-compliant restrooms were provided for men and women patrons. A new fire protection system was installed and connected with the base-wide system. All interior and exterior finishes were replaced.
